Description
Wrapped in either a beautiful Ecuadoran Habano and now also an Mexican San Andres wrapper and featuring a pig tail and shaggy foot, full-body and full-strength cigar.
A Great Cigar with an impressive story! La Mandarria in Spanish means “The Sledgehammer,” this blend was spurn from hardship when the Casa Cuevas warehouse in Miami was burgled and their stock was largely wiped out. The assailants used a sledgehammer to break through the walls of the warehouse into the humidor. Opposed to laying down the Cuevas family decided to push forward and make light of the situation and the La Mandarria was born.
This is one amazing smoke! It’s the strongest in the Cuevas catalog. This cigar was originally slated for limited production but it made such a splash it has become regular production and I couldn’t be happier they did. It’s got a bit of spice to it but that is balanced well with notes of coffee, toasted wood, light star anise and dark toasted caramel. Grab one, kick back with your favorite, whiskey, bourbon or scotch and go on a journey!
